【新聞掲載】2017年10月14日上毛新聞／English follows

 ロンドンの大英博物館には、私の「楓拭漆嵌装小箪笥『碑林玄英』」という作品を収蔵していただいています。このたび、その作品をより一層理解していただくためのビデオを作ってくださることになり、館のPatricia Wheatleyパトリシア・ウィートリー放映課長をディレクターとする撮影クルーが、工房と私の住む町を2日間にわたって丁寧に撮影してくださいました。

　その取材の様子が今日の地元紙に掲載されました。ビデオは大英博物館で放映されます。公開日はまだ未定ですが美しい映像になりそうで楽しみです。

The British Museum have stocked my work named "Stela Forest in Winter"- Small chest with drawers made of maple wood finished in urushi lacquer, with metal lock. In this time, Ms.Patricia Wheatley of BM and her team crews have come to my hometown Kanra-town in Gunma-prefecture in Japan, in order to film me demonstrating the materials, tools, skills and techniques that I used in making the maple box for the British Museum. This video will be shown in the British Museum.
